Manchester United beat Schalke 04 6-2 on agregate to get a chance to clinch their 4 European Cup and doing the double. United beat Schalke 04 2-1 away and hammered them 4-1 at the Stratford End.

Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-1 on agregate after winning 2-0 at the Bernabou and drawing 1-1 at Nou Camp. Barcelona's win ended the 'Special One's' dream of winning the Champions League with three different teams.

Currently, Manchester United and Barcelona won their local league with both of them now eyeing for the double.Manchester United will have to forget their bad memories after losing to Bracelona 2-0 in the 2009 Chamapions League Final. The match will also mark Manchester United's first team goalkeeper, Edwin Van Der Sar's final game, for the Dutchman will be retirering from football at the age of 40.    


                                                 

Antonio Valencia makes his debut after 6 months

Manchester United's number 25 , Antonio Valencia makes his debut after breaking his ankle during the game againts Rangers in the Champions League group stage. Valencia came in on the 46th minute replacing Fabio on the wing for the rest of the game. United went on the snatch a 2-0 victory againts Arsenal.

Manchester United eliminate Arsenal to book a spot in Wembly.

Manchester United booked a spot in the semi-final of the Fa Cup by eliminating Arsenal 2-0 at the Theater of Dreams . Goals from Fabio and Rooney enabled United to grab the victory over The Gunners. Fabio smashed the ball into an empty net after Hernandez's header was well save by Almunia . Wayne Rooney headed the ball into the net from a tight angle to seal the victory. Edwin Van Der Sar had an amazing game after saving many shots by Arsene Wenger's men.
